Whistler Highway Reopens

The Sea to Sky Highway connecting Whistler and Vancouver has reopened. After a large rock slide and four days of closure this was a welcome announcement.

Normal deliveries of goods has resumed. Whistler Resort remained open for business as travelers, including Eagle Tours clients chose to arrive via float plane or helicopter.

Eagle Tours teamed up with Harbour Air to help some of our guests travel from Victoria to Whistler. The incredibly scenic flight took approximately one hour from Victoria to Whistler flying over the Georgia Straight and Howe Sound then passing through the Coast Mountains and finally landing at the Green Lake float plane dock.
